This challenge asks students to think about how they would improve and upgrade various parts of the Underground.  There is the option to run one or more of the following activities in the same session.

 

These include:

 

Station Activity - This activity asks students to think about how they would refurbish an underground station.

 

The session would start with an introduction of Tube Lines and what the company does and would include information about how it is upgrading the 100 stations for which it is responsible.  Students will then work in teams to build their own futuristic tube station.

 

Working with Tube Lines STEM Ambassadors, students will experience first-hand knowledge from engineers in the field.
