Employer Engagement Workshop

Day & Date: Monday, 20th Septemebr 2010

Venue: Seminar room 3.52, Electrical Engineering Buidling, University of Leeds. Please see the university campus map where this building is marked as number 51.

Summary of the day: University of Bradford is organising this Employer Enagement workshop in collaboration with The Royal Academy of Engineering. One of the main objectives of this event is to raise awareness about the various funds available through the National HE STEM Programme to HEIs in England and Wales. The delegates will get an opportunity to work in small groups to generate some bids and expressions of interest for projects which involve employer support. This could be a HE Innovation project where employers are involved in curriculum enhancement/delivery or HEIs providing their workforce development, or it could be an Education Research project. There will also be an opportunity to discuss projects about Engineering for Society, i.e. inclusion and diversity in engineering education.
