Dissemination Seminar for Engineering Activities - Coventry

Day & Date: Tuesday, 13 September 2011

Venue: Armstrong Siddeley Building, Coventry University, CV1 5DD

Organised by: The Royal Academy of Engineering

Summary of the Day: The Royal Academy of Engineering, together with the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre, organised one of the two Dissemination Seminars at Coventry University. This event was for the project leaders of funded engineering projects under their three calls, opened between March 2010 and March 2011. These projects comprise of HE Innovation, Education Research, Engineering for Society (Diversity and Inclusion in Engineering Education), and Outreach & Widening Participation.

The seminar provided all project leaders with an opportunity

  • to present their work to date to wider engineering community as a poster
  • to share their progress with other colleagues involved in the programme
  • to meet and network with other project leaders
  • to discuss their ideas for the further development of their project
  • to attend workshops on the how to evaluate their work, how to write a case study for their project; how to disseminate their work and findings, and how to embed and sustain their work beyond the funding period.

All the project leaders presented a poster, showing the up to date progress of their projects. Following is the list of posters presented at Coventry event:
