Who Can Become an LEP Ambassador?

Becoming an Ambassador for the LEP is a great way to give something back to the community. It can contribute to your personal and professional development and it also gives you the chance to share your enthusiasm for your career with young people. It’s great fun too! 

The key attribute we look for in our Ambassadors is an enthusiasm for STEM subjects. We also look for the following: 

• Experience of working/studying in STEM
• An understanding of the issues facing young, BME Londoners
• Ability to communicate with young people
• Good level of spoken English
• Reliable
• Positive attitude
• Satisfactory CRB disclosure

 We welcome interest from female Engineers, we aim to provide both male and female pupils with positive role models.
