Something for Everyone

For students, the LEP will give them a greater understanding of the application of STEM subjects studied at GCSE and A Level; widening horizons and awakening aspirations. It will also give parents more insight into the choices available to students with the aim for parents to take an active role in their children’s education.

For teachers, the LEP will provide STEM activities to support the curriculum, LEP field workers to deliver the activities and access to learning materials all aimed at increasing students understanding of STEM subjects.

For schools, the LEP aims to enhance student achievement in SATs, GCSEs and at A Level and encourage more young people into higher education.

For HEIs, the LEP will help them to create innovative and interesting courses for their students.
